Transport to and from the clinic
Arranged by the Institute rather than booked separately and timed to the appointment: you are collected when you need to leave and returned once your consultant has confirmed you are ready.
Accompanied transfer
Available where a patient is clinically stable but benefits from observation or assistance during the journey: after sedation, after a day-case procedure, or where mobility is limited. The level of escort is decided by your consultant, not by request.
Transfer between institutions
Where your care requires a specialist, a hospital or an imaging centre the Institute does not hold, the transfer is coordinated by the Institute rather than left to you, and your consultant remains responsible for your care throughout.
